Wigston Test Centre Driving Routes
Wigston Test Centre covers a mix of roads and driving conditions that can catch learners out if they haven’t practised the area. The area covered can stretch from London Road across towards Countersthorpe, giving learners exposure to a wide variety of roads, junctions and traffic conditions. From busy main roads and larger junctions to residential streets, roundabouts and changing speed limits, there is plenty to prepare for.
This wide area is why we focus on helping learners build real confidence across different road conditions, rather than simply memorising one particular test route. Your examiner can take you on different roads on the day, so being comfortable with the wider Wigston and surrounding area can make a big difference to how prepared you feel.
Manual or Automatic, Your Choice
We teach both. Manual lessons are in a modern dual-controlled car; automatic lessons. An automatic licence only lets you drive automatics, but it is usually quicker to get and takes a lot of the mental load out of the first few lessons. What It Costs
£35 for one hour, £66 for two, £170 for a block of five and £330 for a block of ten. Test day is £110, which includes an hour of driving on the Wigston routes beforehand and the use of our car for the test. Motorway lessons are £80 for two hours. No hidden fees and no charge for picking you up.
How Many Lessons Will You Need In Wigston?
The DVSA says most people need about 45 hours of tuition plus 22 hours of private practice. Across our own learners the average is nearer 30 hours, and we have had people pass in 16 to 20.
